Investors play a key role in the financial and legal structure of the company. Their contribution is not only financial, but also human. Investors are part of the TOWT crew, including the more than 3500 individuals who have invested through LITA.

Building a fleet of 8 ships that is unique in the world cannot be done alone. TOWT has been accompanied by many financial investors who have made the dream come true.

Several banks and investment funds played a key role in the development of the project. Today, TOWT is backed by solid, first-class financial players who guarantee the project’s long-term viability.

The banks’ contribution is not only financial. They are also supporting the company in terms of human resources and strategic choices, in line with the desire to massively decarbonise the public sector.

At the same time, major public players have been and continue to be involved in the creation, financing and support of the company.

BPIfrance, the Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts Group) and the Normandy Development Agency (ADN) are supporting the creation of the project.

The reference platform for sustainable investment. This online crowdfunding platform allows citizens to invest directly in companies that make sense to them.

The collection campaign for TOWT through LITA has exceeded all records, which testifies to a strong citizen enthusiasm for the project! 5 million euros were raised in the form of convertible bonds from 3500 people (in France and Belgium) in just 17 days on the platform. Today, no company has done better!

TOWT is therefore strongly supported, both by private and public players.

The LITA campaign also shows that there is a strong demand from citizens to invest in projects that make sense, and that have a real impact.
